Performance Data

Our vision:

the ultimate meat goat

What is performance data and why is it important?

Performance data is a crucial tool to evaluate the characteristics of individual animals in the herd.

Does are evaluated on how many pounds of kid they wean at 90 days and FAMACHA scores as well as general health.

Kids are weighed at birth (needs to be done within 24 hours of birth for reliable performance data) and at 90 days to measure their average daily gain (ADG). They are weighed again at 150 days of age and ADG is recalculated.

This data is available to you so you can make an informed choice about the animals you add to your herd.
